The 16 days between 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and 10 December, Human Rights Day, are known as the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, a time to galvanise action to end violence against women and girls around the world. The “Orange the World” Campaign initiated by the United Nations is part of this effort: the colour orange symbolising a brighter future, free of violence.
On this occasion, several services across different entities in the Council of Europe are organising an “Orange the World! Orange your Home!” virtual photo exhibition. You can start sending your photos to email@example.com right now. The first gallery will be published on the Intranet on Wednesday, 25 November, and will be enhanced with further photos on a regular basis until 10 December. More information on the intranet. Please spread the word and encourage your colleagues to participate!
