Every few seconds, someone, somewhere, needs blood. Blood donation is a quick, easy, and incredibly safe process, but only a small subsection of the population are regular blood donors. Out of the people who are considered “eligible” to donate blood, only about 10% choose to do so. However, blood donations have a short shelf-life, so regular donors are essential to secure a constant supply.

What can you do?  #Give Blood. Save lives.

The EDQM and the l'Établissement français du sang (Grand Est) invite you to give blood in a blood donor session which will be held on Friday, 6 March from 10 am to 2 pm in the EDQM building.

This session is open to the Permanent Representations, staff members and their families.  Volunteers should bring with them a means of identification and a completed copy of the anonymous questionnaire, available below.
