,On 21 November the Bureau of the Amicale was received by the new Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pej?inovi? Buri?. She was well informed about the activities of the Amicale and declared herself honoured to be its honorary president, as provided for in the statutes.
The meeting took place in a very warm atmosphere and was an opportunity for our Secretary General to get to know the members of the Bureau as well as the Secretary of the Amicale.
By a happy coincidence, the very morning the Committee of Ministers decided to return to zero real growth for the Organisation's budgets, which was welcomed by all participants.
