New TTS slot - Tuesday afternoon @ the EYC

Written written the 27/05/2019

Since our inception, the TT section has been playing regularly in the ASCE Room 2. Now, thanks to the support of Nancy (president of the ASCE), we have been alloted a second place to practice our sport - the European Youth Center.

The European Youth Center has agreed to let us play, on a trial basis,  on Tuesday afternoons, from 17h until 19h30.

With this come some conditions, namely we must contact the EYC on Mondays and check if there are no programmed events for the upcoming Tuesday afternoons. Also, the people coming to play must all be members of the Amicale (required for insurance purposes) and have badges.

They already have one table for us, so for now this will allow up to 4 players to play during the alloted timeslot.  If the trial goes smoothly, we could eventually get a second table. It would only be possible to add another table if we find a suitable place where it could be stored without becoming a hindrance in the day to day functioning of the EYC.

During this trial period, we will also see if the EYC suits our needs and if there are enough TTS participants willing to go during that timeslot.

The first session will be held this Tuesday afternoon, 28th May 2019 at 17h. We will have to limit the number of participants to 6 (3 double teams), which will allow for switching and the 2h30 to be well optimised. The invitations will be sent by e-mail where you can reply if you are coming.

To get there, it only takes 3 minutes by bike or 12 minutes by foot, which is a great way to "warm up" :) (see map below the header image).
