A group had been composed for the occasion, to whcih members of the Carribean dance section had joined to get prepared to the vent. Everything was ready: costumes, balloons, goodies to be distributed to children.. Unfortunately, the Carnival had to be cancelled a few hours before its departure, due to strong winds in Strasbourg on 10 March.
The group nonetheless performed a few dances on the music of other groups who had also come for the Carnival at Place de la Bourse.
