About 33 years after the explosion, ongoing consequences of the Chernobyl disaster are still impacting the present.
The humanitarien association « Les Enfants de Tchernobyl » call for volonteer host families of 6 departments in the East of France : 25, 67, 68, 70, 88 et 90.
From the 4 to the 25 August 2019, it organizes the venue in France of children from the Russian city of NOVOZYBKOV (Bryansk Region), still highly contaminated by Chernobyl, for stays of 3 weeks.
Children are from disadvantadged families and are selected by the association in that respect.
