For the International Women's Day, the Amicale in partnership with the French NGO Règles élémentaires, is organising a collection campaign for period products to be distributed to homeless women and women in need.
When ? : From Monday 4 March to Wednesday 13 March
How ?/ Where ? :
Four donation boxes will be proposed to gather your donations (tampons, pads, panty liners, cups) in the Council’s buildings :
- Palais de l’Europe (corridor to the restaurant, next to Dispatching Centre),
- Agora (next to the cafeteria),
- Palais des Droits de l’Homme (zone 20 RC),
- EDQM (next to the cafeteria).
For the other buildings, your donation can be given to the following colleagues:
The collected products will be inventoried and given to local NGOs with field presence, in charge of the distribution to women in need ; Strasbourg Action Solidarité and Foyer Notre Dame.
Complementary information:
- A parallel collection campaign / educational action will also be proposed at the Lycée international des Pontonniers.
- A screening of the movie "Licht" will be organised by Human Resources, the Gender Equality Division and Eurimages
