The autumn season has arrived and we would like to encourage you to participate in our eco-friendly activities and initiatives planned this autumn.
The Green Section invites you to participate in a healthy and sustainable eating workshop and discover some practical tips on how to move towards a healthier diet! The workshop will take place on 23 October during lunch break (from 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm) in Room G06 (Agora building). Please feel free to bring your lunch.
The workshop will be conducted by Clemence Pouclet, a local qualified eco-adviser (L'Avis en Vert) and author of the book “Ma santé, ma planete, mon budget”. The workshop will be in French and will consist of introduction to healthy, balanced and sustainable eating, collective filling of the food pyramid and focusing on the nutritional quality of different foods (good oil vs. "bad" oils, processed cereals vs. whole grains, etc.) and a plant variety game.
A small participation fee of 10 euro per person is requested (cash please). Please contact Anastasiia as soon as possible to subscribe.
As last November, the Amicale’s green team will participate in the River Ill cleaning organised by Alsace nature (local eco-initiative) and the City of Strasbourg. Small gifts and a complimentary drink will be provided for the volunteers. Please sign up here.
“Green Friday” is a global awareness-raising action which was initiated to counter the increasingly popular “Black Friday” sale, which takes place on Friday 23 November all over the world.
We would like to encourage you to support this alternative – “Green Friday”, which aims to raise awareness about overconsumption and promote a responsible shopping attitude. On this occasion, the Green section will organise a collection of winter items and accessories for a local Strasbourg charity. For more details keep an eye on our website in November!
