Just one year before the European elections, MEPs will be debating with you about their work in Parliament. What role does it play within the institutions that are said to be “distant”? What is its commitment to freedom and citizens’ rights? What impact does its votes have on our daily life? The only Union institution elected by direct universal suffrage forms the heart of European democracy.
