The  "Bulgarian Language and Culture" section is pleased to invite you to a prelude to the double show "Mondes croisés" (5 May, Cité de la Musique et de la Danse) - the film "The legend", which will be projected on 2 May at 12:30 pm, in the Projection room of the Palais de l'Europe.

Synopsis: 

In the 1980s and 90s legendary Neshka Robeva’s “Golden Girls” won hundreds of medals at World and European championships and Olympic Games…In 2000 Bulgaria’s most acclaimed lady was forced to give up sport and created her own dance company. This was the beginning of a new stage in her life – she put on shows that immediately became tremendously popular in  Bulgaria. “Two Worlds” was performed 26 times in  the National Palace of Culture’s  – an absolute record. A year later it became the first Bulgarian show to be performed on Broadway.

Audiences in dozens of countries have been admiring and  enjoying Neshka Robeva’s art for 15 years, as they did admire her “Golden Girls” before....
