Born in Gouda in October 1973, to a Dutch father and a French mother, Sigrid spent her childhood in the Netherlands, United States, Paris, and Chantilly before moving to Strasbourg as a teenager. Adult, she lived for 10 years in the south of France and then Amsterdam, before returning to her heart's home: Strasbourg.
Self-taught, she first tamed Photography with her father's camera and worked in a photography lab for nearly 7 years. A profession that became her passion in the Digital age due to her camera always ready in her handbag. A sensitivity that has been sharpened through various explorations.
Various professional experiences have marked her career as a Photographer (weddings, artist promotion, fashion) but it is in FREE CREATION that she flourishes the most: in the mindset of always having fun and keeping dreaming.
In 2004, her first urban Reflection revealed itself, a coincidence that marked the beginning of her addiction to this theme. When every reflective surface (water, glass, hood) becomes a source of inspiration, inviting the gaze to dive in and discover another dimension, much more poetic and metaphorical than reality.
In 2018, she discovered the art of Symmetry and Pareidolia, a magic she continues to explore to this day. Clouds, trees, streets, light, contrast... an infinite palette for a limitless imagination.
A singular point of view, a metaphorical vision to see Life in its most beautiful sight.
