My paintings are inspired by two distinct sources: Past and Present - my childhood memories, mountains and landscapes of my hometown, the sense of my little self’s courage and invincibility, as well as my current pursuit of happiness, realism and the beauty of the nowness! My paintings create themselves! I am just a tool to move the pallets and the brushes. They speak their own language through colors, blends, and overlaps. They speak to the eyes of viewers with the power of absurdity of neighboring colors, intertwined shades and mixing chunks. Apparently, they reflect my vision of the marriage of past and present: partly in harmony, partly in pain, partly in regret. Colors are my force! Just like we remember our past and present in colours…
