For the past 20 years Violeta Kongo has entirely devoted her creative talents to painting. She employs different techniques (canvass, paper, silk, wood etc.). She uses her aquarelles on silk to crate some exceptional and unique handmade products such as scarves, pareos, bracelets, or hair and bag accessories. Some of her creations are also framed and used as decoration pieces. Violeta was born in 1950. She graduated from the University of Tirana, the Faculty of Philology, and specialised in Albanian literature. She has worked as a journalist both in TV and several journals and was Director of the Albanian National Puppet Theatre. In 2017, "AK. Art Gallery" had an exhibition entirely dedicated to her work. She has also exhibited in several other exhibitions alongside other Albanian artists.
