Squash Section rules
1. Players are encouraged to play squash with respect for the rules, the spirit of the game and their opponents.
2. Players are asked to be respectful of the equipment provided by the Club, in particular the squash court. The wearing of non-marking sports shoes is compulsory when on the court.
3. A squash session lasts an hour, except during peak times between midday and 2.15pm when it lasts only three quarters of an hour.
4. Court bookings are made using an online booking tool, accessible to members only.
5. Any member of the Squash Section may invite a guest (i.e. a person who is not a member of the Squash Section) subject to payment of the fixed guest fee set out in Article 7 of these rules. The guest is under the responsibility of the member who invited him/her. The member undertakes to accompany the guest for the duration of the guest’s presence on the Organisation's premises and is responsible for the guest’s behaviour during that time.
6. Members may book the court 5 days in advance if they are playing between members and 5 days in advance if they are playing with a guest. These conditions apply during on weekdays for players wishing to play twice a week.
7. The fixed fee for a guest is 4€ per session. The fee should be paid at the time of booking.
8. The squash court may be used occasionally by guests, provided prior agreement is given by a member of the Committee, the related guest fee has been paid and this does not prevent members from playing.
9. The Squash Section Committee shall rule on any dispute related to these rules.
