1. Players are encouraged to play squash with respect for the rules, the spirit of the game and their opponents.
2. Players are asked to be respectful of the equipment provided by the Club, in particular the squash court. The wearing of non-marking sports shoes is compulsory when on the court.
3. A squash session lasts an hour, except during peak times between 12:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. when it lasts only three quarters of an hour.
4. Court bookings are made using an online booking tool, accessible to members only.
5. Members playing with other members may book the court 5 days in advance, avoiding booking 2 consecutive slots during peak hours between 12:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
6. Members, and only members, may play twice a week (Monday to Friday). If a member wishes to play a third or fourth time, they may only reserve the court 24 hours in advance.
7. Any member of the Squash Section may invite a guest (i.e. a person who is not a member of the Squash Section) subject to payment of the fixed guest fee set out in Article 7 of these rules. The guest is under the responsibility of the member who invited him/her. The member undertakes to accompany the guest for the duration of the guest’s presence on the Organisation's premises and is responsible for the guest’s behaviour during that time.
8. Members playing with a guest may reserve the court 5 days in advance, giving priority to less popular time slots (from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Members must enter the guest's first and last name in the online booking tool.
9. The flat-rate participation fee for a guest is set at €5 per session. This amount will be paid at the end of the year (in August), upon presentation of the individual statement of sessions with guests by the treasurer.
10. The squash court may be used occasionally by guests, provided prior agreement is given by a member of the Committee, the related guest fee has been paid and this does not prevent members from playing.
11. The Squash Section Committee shall rule on any dispute related to these rules.
