From 2016 to the present day, I have climbed various mountains in the Alps. I began working with the body from the poses I knew from mountain climbing. In this process, I carried the already partially light-sensitised canvases with me to the peak of the mountain and continued working on the process there. I also roam with my thoughts. Down to my feet. And perhaps, it often seems to me, even further. As if a silent exchange takes place, an “osmotic walk.” The pulse of movement becomes the rhythm of breathing. The rhythm of breathing becomes the pulse of movement. I seek to find artistic answers to such questions.
