If Europe is in mythology and its etymology a feminine figure “with wide eyes”, today is an appropriate time - 100 years after the end of the Great War and 50 years after May 1968, two events which profoundly and lastingly changed the place of women in European society - to revisit the history of women and the evolution of the status of women in Europe.
This is what we offer through a series of events on various themes related to the International Women’s Day 2018 as regards Women's Rights.
Events proposed by:
- European Cultural Partners,
- Alliance Française Strasbourg Europe,
- The Council of Europe Staff Association,
- the Press Club,
- the Lieu d’Europe,
- with the support of the Strasbourg City and Euro-metropolis.
