The Green Section of the Amicale has the honour to welcome the Papuan Chief Mundiya Kepanga to the Council of Europe on 18 April 2018. Mundiya Kepanga, originally from the Tari region in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, is a high-level speaker advocating for the environment, our planet’s preservation and eco-development programmes in his own region.
The Papuan Chief will address the issue of deforestation and destruction of old-growth forests during the screening of his latest documentary “Brothers of the trees”.
The screening will take place in the Palais de l’Europe (Room 1) on Wednesday 18 April 2018 at 6 pm and will be followed by an exchange of views with the Papuan Chief and Marc Dozier, the co-producer of the documentary.
