Yulia Grigoryants is a photographer from Armenia, currently based in Paris, France. Covering wide range of photography fields from Travel photography to documentary photography Yulia works as a freelance photographer for the last 6 years. Among her personal projects are documenting the life in border regions and ethnic minorities of Armenia, poverty in the country, etc. The photo stories were published in local and international media, such as Washington Post. Last year she was twice exhibited at UN House in Yerevan, Armenia with a personal exhibition and as a part of a group exhibition. The application includes three diverse proposed subjects: - “Mountains”: The beauty of peculiarity, emanating across the mountain landscapes of Armenia, Nepal France and Georgia. - “Other Armenia”: Personal journey - rediscovering and embracing not typical beauty of the homeland Armenia. - “Inhabitants of the Empty” a series of photographs documenting the lives of few families in decaying buildings on the outskirts of Gyumri in Armenia, the city that witnessed devastating earthquake in 1988, war in 90ies and blockade. The print sizes for all proposed photo series is 30x45 cm
