Catarina Cramer was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1972. She was educated in the Steiner School system and moved to Strasbourg in 1991 where she completed university studies in linguistics. She has lived there ever since. Creative pursuits have always been integral to her way of life. In the recent years, her work has focused on linocut as her medium of predilection. Catarina Cramer’s creations take us into imaginary realms where memories meet fantasies and stories unravel, tracing spontaneous narratives between her inner worlds and those of the viewers.
