I am a mosaicist based in Alsace, where I teach this art at the Université Populaire Européenne in Strasbourg. The theme of the exhibition I am presenting is glass and stone. My work aims to highlight the luminosity and transparency of glass in association with the natural colours and ruggedness of stone. I use fine Tiffany-type glass in conjunction with marble, limestone and granite, which I cut and shape into different forms, my goal being to create harmony between the light of the glass and the contours of the stone. On this theme, my exhibition presents vases, candle holders, wall lamps, jewellery, framed creations and various everyday objects.
