AMICALE FEMMES provides a meeting place and centre of activities for spouses of officials of the Council of Europe and Permanent Representation ands staff members from both as well as friends from Strasbourg whom they sponsor. Our role, among other things, is to welcome and provide a meeting place for new families arriving at the Council of Europe.

In support of two campaigns, the Amicale, together with Amicale-femmes, is appealing for donations of books:

  • Books in French or German on the subject of love, which will be made available in the reading booths during the literary festival “Ces pages d’amour”. The collection takes place from 15 January to 5 February. Books may be left in: the Amicale’s Agora office (A1.09V); room 6 049 in the Palais de l’Europe; room 30 03 311 2I in the Human Rights Building; or
